Flip chip feature lets you change the head tube and seat tube angles, along with the bottom bracket height, to fine-tune handling for varying trail conditions and individual riding style. You can choose the low position for fast, aggressive terrain, or high for a more XC-oriented rider position.
The RideControl Go top tube integrated multi-function on/off button and RideControl Ergo 3 handlebar-mounted remote, which can be mounted on either grip, offer user-friendly controls and an uncluttered cockpit design. An all-new composite Giant Contact SLR Trail Integrated handlebar offers adjustability, compliance, light weight (255gr), and a clean profile.
How far can I expect to ride on a single battery charge?
The range for a single battery charge can vary greatly depending on conditions such as the combined weight of the rider and cargo; wind resistance; tire pressure and tread profile; terrain and elevation changes; road or trail surface; outdoor temperature; maintenance of the E-Bike; and the condition of the battery.
The bar below gives an approximate range. Conditions are categorized as extreme, good and ideal. Extreme conditions typically occur when riding with a heavy load, strong headwinds or excessive climbs.
Built on a lightweight, stiff and durable composite frameset, the Trance X Advanced E+ LTD combines progressive trail bike design with a powerful new motor and battery system. It also features a host of cutting-edge technologies including a flip chip feature that lets riders adjust frame geometry; a new integrated composite handlebar/stem unit; a Fox Live Valve suspension system; and a wireless electronic drivetrain and dropper seatpost. Here’s a look at some of its key technologies.
High-performance grade raw carbon material is used to produce this custom frame material with a high stiffness-to-weight ratio. The front triangle is assembled and molded as one continuous piece in a proprietary manufacturing process called Modified Monocoque Construction.
This integrated group of technologies forms the operating system of every Giant E-bike. The user-friendly components—including the motor, control unit and battery pack—function as part of an overarching system that seamlessly combines electric power with human power to produce a smart, natural and powerful ride experience.

Six smart sensors precisely measure the power being applied to the pedals so the motor can provide just the right amount of assistance to create a natural, powerful riding experience. This helps optimize energy efficiency for both the rider and the battery system.
RideControl Ergo wirelessly connects with the RideControl App so your smart phone can function as a display for ride data and system updates.
Electronically controlled suspension system features sensors that automatically adjust the fork and rear shock independently within milliseconds as the terrain changes. Fully integrated system has multiple suspension modes that are easy to adjust on the fly or with an available smart phone app.

SyncDrive Pro powered by Yamaha is designed for high-performance E-bike riding. Giant tuned the motor to make it more powerful, producing a performance-oriented riding style. The lightweight, compact SyncDrive Pro motor is used primarily on Giant’s high-performance models.
All SyncDrive motors have Smart Assist technology, which adjusts the support to match the rider’s needs. By using information from multiple sensors, both rider input and terrain feedback are used to determine the optimal amount of pedaling assistance. SyncDrive is the only e-bike system that utilizes both rider input and terrain feedback. It gives you a smooth, natural riding experience with ample power when you need it, while also conserving power when you don’t need as much.
Giant’s latest EnergyPak battery systems feature streamlined designs that are integrated with the E-bike for a sleek and modern profile. Giant E-bikes offer several different EnergyPak options including the EnergyPak Smart and EnergyPak. Each one is designed to optimize the E-bike experience for a specific style of riding.
Available on premium Giant E-Bikes, RideControl Go features a multipurpose button integrated into the top tube. Colored LEDs allow you to switch power modes from the top tube and keep a clean handlebar setup. The lights also display battery level and support mode.
This updated control system features clean buttons that are integrated with the handlebar grips. You can install the three-button control on the left or right side, making it easy to switch power modes. You also have the option of adding a second control on the other side. Using the RideControl App, you can configure it to your own personal preferences.
The flip chip allows riders to quickly adjust the geometry of their Maestro-equipped mountain bike to better suit how and where they ride. It lets riders change the headtube/seattube angles and bottom bracket height via eccentric (offset, two-position) hardware located on the upper rocker arm.
